The 5.92 meter long, 2.04 meter wide and 2.63 meter high high-roof panel van is manufactured in China by the contract manufacturer Asiastar and should offer numerous different options for designing the interior. It should be able to transport goods just as easily as people; it can accommodate up to 24 seats. Electric and heated rear-view mirrors, air conditioning in the driver’s cab and a multifunction steering wheel should bring a bit of comfort into the interior.
So far, Elaris has largely kept a low profile when it comes to drive and battery technology. It only says that the transporter offers a maximum torque of 440 Newton meters and can be charged with a maximum output of 150 kilowatts. The company is only more willing to provide information in relation to the safety equipment: the package of electronic assistants includes an automatic emergency braking system, a lane departure warning system and tire pressure monitoring and parking assistance including a reversing camera.
